“I had the pleasure of working with Annie Martineau at GCI Health. She is an outstanding Creative Director who creates impactful campaigns resonating deeply with healthcare providers, patients, caretakers, and beyond. Her commitment to advocacy shines through in every project, combining strategic insight with creative excellence. I greatly admire her problem-solving skills and innovative visual storytelling. I trust that every project will be enhanced by her touch.”

Worked with Annie on the same team
"Annie is one of the most talented and versatile creatives I've ever worked with. Both as an art director and a copywriter; she has an incredible ability to craft stories that are not only engaging and thoughtful, but also truthful and incisive from a brand perspective. She is consistently able to cut through the noise and produce content that is beautiful, bold and different. Annie's empathy and broad stylistic sensibilities have allowed her to create exceptional work across print, web, video and interactive that resonates with audiences ranging from catwalk fashion to dive-bar beverage to socio-economic justice.
Annie is one of those rare creatives who is totally comfortable taking a project from ideation to launch, and excels when invited to to do so. On my team Annie would regularly write briefs, assemble and manage teams, lead concept planning and review sessions, present to client and manage client interactions. Once a concept was approved and production started, Annie frequently managed budgets, schedules, and all aspects of production planning. She is as much at home selecting a producer as she is researching, interviewing and briefing photographers and stylists. She regularly scouted locations, planed sets, oversaw prop and wardrobe shopping, built all pre-production materials and managed creative/production team communications.
On set Annie is always meticulously prepared and brings an infectious energy. Behind camera she's calm, clear and direct, but always able to ad-lib or pivot if something is not quite working as planned. She is demanding but flexible, open to new ideas and once she's checked off the boxes will always push to capture material that pushes a brand beyond their comfort zone. In post Annie can manage retouch, proofing, color correction, print setups and asset creation.
In a world of cheap-trick ponies, Annie is an inter-dimensional unicorn. Any brand or creative team would be lucky to have her."

Managed Annie directly
"Annie Martineau is the golden standard of creative. A natural born maker and story-teller, Annie can make any idea reality. Her ability to orchestrate the moving parts of a campaign while seeing both big picture and value in details results in stronger and more thoughtful work. During my time at Brown Shoe Company, Annie's leadership empowered myself - and those around her- to think outside of the bubble and ask the right questions in order to get the most efficient end result. Annie is extremely intuitive and delegated responsibilities evenly across the team to ensure everyone held a unique but equally important purpose. You want to work hard for Annie. Annie's natural ability to streamline complexities would benefit any potential client, partner, employee or employer."

Design for Art’s Sake
Sometimes the work you’re most proud of doesn’t have a long brief attached with KPI’s or strategic insights. Here is a collection of design works for fellow artists, ranging from poster art to music promo videos to film photography, to demonstrate my aesthetic and love for visual storytelling.
